MUSIC OF THE MOVEMENT
Coming all the way from the U.K. to Canada for their first time ever, The Daz Band is super stoked to be performing their world famous protest music at Druthers Festival on the September long weekend. The lead singer, Darren Nesbitt, is also the same fellow that started TheLightPaper.co.uk over in England. It’s the only other newspaper we know of that is very similar to Druthers and we are thrilled to be finally meeting him and the band in person.
Five Times August is the solo act of singer / songwriter Brad Skistimas. In early 2021 Five Times August began releasing a series of protest songs taking aim at Covid-era regulations, the Biden administration, Justin Trudeau, as well as Anthony Fauci with the hit song “Sad Little Man,” which reached #1 on several Amazon and Apple Music charts. This will be Brad’s first time ever performing in Canada and we are thrilled to be having him on stage at Druthers Festival.
The rowdy, non-stop rebel soul known as Blind Joe is coming from the midwest USA to grace the stage at Druthers Festival. Many of you will already know him from his popular protest song, I Will Not Comply. You may have also seen Blind Joe wowing the judges on season 9 of The Voice. With his quick witted sense of humor, original country music, and energetic stage presence, Blind Joe is tapping his way quickly into the hearts and minds of people all over the US & Canada.
Chris creates soul-soothing music that we would love to see be the new mainstream. Delivering uplifting, healing sounds, lyrics & energies that will tickle you deep in your soul, this is a must-see performance.
Corey is a kind, gentle soul and a local favourite out on the west coast. He is known for his thoughtful songs of dissent and we’re grateful to have him coming to share his alternative/folk music at Druthers Festival.
Join David at the late-night stage for a 2 hour crystal journey into your own personal, transformative, trancendenatal experience. If you’ve never been to one of his shows, you are in for an very special treat.
More confirmed artists:
Allen Song • freedubstar • Ron Cross • Cam Watters • Francine Jarry • Fringe Citizen • Kreuger • Night Howlers • Avian Agenda • Gabe Salem • The Hippy Chicks
and still more to come

Come meet and experience the comedic force known as Cathy Jones at Druthers Festival 2025.
Many of you will know and love Cathy from her iconic characters on the long running Canadian classic, “This Hour Has 22 Minutes”. Almost driven mad by the covid narrative taking hold, Cathy left 22 minutes in 2021, after 28 years. She is bringing her hilarious comedy and a heart full of gratitude to the festival and we can hardly wait!
See and meet Cathy Jones at Druthers Festival 2025 in Ontario this September long weekend.
Alex “THE COMIC” Lasarev
“What gives me the greatest joy is helping/inspiring others to recognize their divinity and discover what unique gifts they hold, so that they can use those gifts for the benefit of all.
A part of this is helping people attain social freedom/self love/authentic expression so that they can confidently express who they are and what they want. Also, certain spiritual principles must be understood. When we are truly BEING in alignment, we can easily step into the highest timeline so that we can experience the joy that life has to offer!
The foundation for all this is doing the personal shadow work so that one may see and truly recognize one’s true nature as LOVE.”
Alex “The Comic” Lasarev
Laughter is medicine. Get your dose with Alex as he delivers a stand-up comedy performance at Druthers Festival 2025. Alex will also be fascilitating a connection game with the crowd to help us see and get to know each other.
